Activities of the Foundation

Since its establishment in 1988, the E.K. Frey – E. Werle Foundation has supported scientific conferences and symposia with nearly 600,000 US$ in total. The awards and laudation speeches have been presented by the former President of the LMU, Prof. Dr. Wulf Steinmann (1988-1995) and subsequently by Prof. Dr. Werner Müller-Esterl and Prof. Dr. Hans Fritz. Some of the laudatios have been published in Immunopharmacology 43, 91-95 (1999) and 32, 2-5 (1996) as well as in Agents & Actions, Suppl. 38/I, 8-17 (1992).
